At නැණ හරසර 2021 to be held on 14th December 2022 at 7.30AM, 144 Anandians with all A grades and their teachers who guided them to achieve this are to be honored.
නැණ හරසර was first launched in the year 2004 by the 70-75 Group and since last year it is being co-hosted by 70-75 Group and 2007 Group jointly. During the past 16 years the school demonstrated a clear motivation among Advanced Level students to show flying colors thanks to නැණ හරසර series and its organizers.
The unique aspect of නැණ හරසර is the fact that the distinguished panel of invitees too are Old Anandians who excelled in many areas while in the school and currently in apex positions in their respective fields. This year නැණ හරසර event would be graced by Prof. Nimal Rajapakshe, Deputy Vice Chancellor of SLIIT, Prof. Chathura Rathnayake from the Medical Faculty of the University of Peradeniya, Prof. Kapila Rohan Athale from the University of Chicago, USA, Prof. Saman S Abeysekera from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (retired), A.D. Ranjith Kumara, Senior Journalist, Mr. Sumith Senanayake President’s Cousel and Mr. Mewan Gunathillake, Director of Sanken Group. The audience is always the following advanced level batch who will be inspired by the honours bestowed to their seniors to achieve similar high standards and receive recognition on par.
